General Labourer

We are currently looking for General Labourers for an immediate start to join our team.

About us:

ShapeCUT is Queensland’s largest privately owned metal processing firm with 14 modern machines, the largest stock of steel plates on the market, and a custom-built job processing system all backed by a dedicated and experienced team.

We have been delivering quality profile cutting and metal processing to steel fabricators and manufacturers servicing the transport, mining and construction industries for over 20 years.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• In this role you must be reliable, able to work weekends, day or afternoon shifts
• Minimum 2 years’ experience – heavy industry experience preferred
• Must have a Valid High Risk Ticket for operation of Forklift.
• To be able to comply with Working to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Display courtesy, manners and respect to customers and fellow colleagues.
• Must have own car and license
• Must be strong and fit for the role.
• Must be able to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• Suitable applicants will have to be able to pass a drug & alcohol test. Testing will be at candidate’s expense and reimbursed after 3 month’s employment.
• As a team member you will have ingrained safety ethic and use safe work practices and promote safety in the workplace as a core value.
