Saying hello to our new CNC plasma cutter

At ShapeCUT we take a particular amount of pride in the staff who have been with us for many years, even decades. We like to think we take care of our team and they, in turn, do an excellent job of providing professional service.

With that in mind, we recently said hello to a new plasma cutter, replacing one of the oldest ones that have been serving our business well for over 20 years.

Plasma cutting offers an unprecedented degree of accuracy for large-scale steel cutting jobs. CNC-controlled drill heads can make holes that would be otherwise too small to cut, and they do them fast, too. They’re perfect for complex cuts that have variations in shape or getting through thick steel that would be too tough for other methods.

Our old plasma cutter would often run for 18 hours at a time, and still put in a great effort thanks to the skill and dedication of its operators.

We’ve welcomed a new plasma cutter into our workshop and look forward to many more years of quality service to keep our valued customers happy.
